The Bali Pass Trek is a thrilling high-altitude adventure in the Indian Himalayas, connecting the picturesque Har Ki Dun Valley to the Yamunotri region. Standing at 16,207ft (4,950 m), the pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kalanag peaks. This challenging trek takes you through dense forests, alpine meadows, glacier crossings, and remote villages, making it a perfect mix of adventure and cultural exploration. Highlights include the serene Ruinsara Tal, the rugged Bali Pass ascent, and the descent into Yamunotri, a revered pilgrimage site. Best time to trek? May–June & September–October, when the weather is clear, and the landscapes are at their finest. Ideal for experienced trekkers seeking a thrilling Himalayan expedition!

Day 1: Dehradun to sankri village

Morning: Drive from Dehradun to Sankri (200 km, 7-8 hours).
Afternoon: Arrive at Sankri (6,400 feet), check into a guesthouse or homestay.
Evening: Attend a briefing session and enjoy a warm dinner.

Day 2: Sankri to Seema via Taluka

Morning: Drive to Taluka and start the trek to Seema, covering 12 km in 5-6 hours.
Afternoon: Set up camp at Seema (8,500 feet) and relax.
Evening: Enjoy a hearty meal at the campsite.

Day 3: Seema to Rainbasera

Morning: Begin trekking from Seema to Rainbasera, covering 10 km in 6-7 hours.
Afternoon: Arrive at Rainbasera (10,000 feet), set up camp, and rest.
Evening: Explore the surroundings and have dinner.

Day 4: Rainbasera to Ruinsara Tal

Morning: Continue the trek to Ruinsara Tal, a beautiful high-altitude lake, covering 6 km in 4-5 hours.
Afternoon: Reach Ruinsara Tal (11,800 feet), set up camp, and relax by the lake.
Evening: Enjoy the serenity and have dinner at the campsite.

Day 5: Ruinsara Tal to Odari

Morning: Trek from Ruinsara Tal to Odari, covering 4 km in 3-4 hours.
Afternoon: Arrive at Odari (13,100 feet) and prepare for the summit push.
Evening: Rest and have a hot meal.

Day 6: Odari to Bali Pass Summit and Descend to Lower Dhamni

Early Morning: Begin the summit trek to Bali Pass (16,207 feet), covering a total of 10 km in 9-10 hours.
Morning: Reach the summit and enjoy panoramic views of peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kala Nag.
Afternoon: Descend to Lower Dhamni (11,800 feet) and set up camp.
Evening: Rest and have a warm dinner.

Day 7: Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti

Morning: Trek to Janki Chatti, covering 8 km in 5-6 hours.
Afternoon: Arrive at Janki Chatti (8,500 feet) and drive to a nearby guesthouse.
Evening: Celebrate the trek’s completion with a farewell dinner.

Day 8: Janki Chatti to Dehradun

Morning: Drive back to Dehradun (200 km, 7-8 hours).
Afternoon: Arrive in Dehradun and conclude your Bali Pass Trek adventure.

  • Trek Duration: 8–9 days | Max Altitude: 16,207 ft (Bali Pass)
  • Difficulty: Difficult — prior high-altitude trek experience recommended
  • Daily trekking: 8–12 km; includes glacier and steep snow climbs
  • Begin fitness training 4–6 weeks prior (cardio, leg strength, endurance)
  • Must carry valid government ID and medical fitness certificate
  • Mobile connectivity only till Sankri (base village)
  • Weather can be extreme — pack layers, rain gear, and cold protection
  • Eco-friendly trek: carry back your waste, avoid plastic
  • No alcohol, smoking, or loud music during the trek
  • Follow all safety instructions given by trek leaders
  • Trek involves crossing high-altitude pass with technical terrain — be mentally and physically prepared

Payment Policy

  • 50% of the total amount to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Remaining 50% to be paid at least 7 days before the trek starts.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or online payment gateways.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

  • Cancellation 30+ days before trek: 90% refund
  • Cancellation 15-30 days before trek: 50% refund
  • Cancellation 7-14 days before trek: 25% refund
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before trek: No refund
  • In case of natural disasters or government restrictions, an alternate trek/date will be offered. No cash refund in such cases.
